A new cover and publication update

THIS is not the cover of my novel The Choreography Of Ghosts. However, it was my attempt at designing one and it's a little bit miserable, isn't it?

There is a reason for posting this though and that is to tell you that the book is scheduled to be published in March/April.

I quickly realised I was not cut out to do the technical stuff and handed over the job to an expert, Matt Bird (JackFruit Treasure - books by Matthew Bird).

Matt is currently working on the design - I merely submitted a picture, the title and my name - and will also be formatting the book, which I should have with him by the end of next week (the 11th and hopefully final draft incoming).

I have been saying "coming soon" for ages and it has actually taken me longer than Guns 'n' Roses took to complete their second album, but at least it won't sound as bad.

I intend to hold a launch party in Rotherham around publication and hopefully get someone more well-known than me to help out and boost attendance.

It will more than likely be in a pub with a free drink for everyone who buys the book in print or digital format, which will hopefully attract a few more to come along as well.

Between now and then I will be posting regular updates and maybe even some readings if I can bear the sound of my own voice and seeing myself on screen.

There will also be more blogs and snippets from the book.

In the meantime I also intend to get on with writing the second one. Better crack on then.
